RFP was full of energy and activity yesterday, as we got a visit from Amy Boone McCreesh‘s class at MICA in the morning, and concurrent visits from Elisabeth Gambino‘s ACCE students and Rachel Valsing‘s Towson High School students in the afternoon. The ACCE and THS students did a nifty activity where they paired up (one student from each of the schools), sat back to back, and took turns describing a favorite place in their neighborhoods while the listening student drew based on the description. I’ll post some of the (terrific) drawings later, but this led to a rich conversation after the fact about the differences and similarities between neighborhoods in both the city and the county, and the needs of communities in general.
